Shabani started in 2005 in Oberschleißheim , just north of Munich, with the local FC Phönix Schleißheim with the club soccer. As early as the following year, at the age of seven, he was signed by FC Bayern Munich and in the following years played there in all youth teams. After playing for the U16s in the B-Juniors - Bayernliga in the 2014/15 season , he was taken directly to the U19s in the summer of 2015, although he was only 16 years old. There he was able to quickly establish himself in the team, in which he was henceforth a constant. In June 2017 he and his team were in the final of the German A-Junior Championship and lost to Borussia Dortmund on penalties .

In October 2017, he came to two short appearances for the amateur team of FC Bayern in the fourth-rate regional league Bayern .

After Shabani had sat on the bench in the Bundesliga match of the professional team in Leipzig in March 2018, he was in the starting line-up in the 4-1 home win against Eintracht Frankfurt on April 28, 2018 , as coach Jupp Heynckes in the for Bayern after the already won championship rather insignificant game in view of the upcoming second leg of the Champions League semi-final at Real Madrid three days later, spared numerous regular players. Shabani was replaced in the 56th minute.

On May 8, 2018, Shabani signed a professional contract with FC Bayern, dated June 30, 2020. For the 2018/19 season he moved up to the amateurs' squad and was again with the professional team several times, but did not get beyond short stints and test matches. With the Bayern Amateurs, however, he was a regular player under coach Holger Seitz and not only won a prestigious junior tournament in England with the Premier League International Cup , but also rose to the 3rd division with the team at the end of the regional league season .

Move to England

After Shabani had made 3 third division appearances (once from the start) under the new coach Sebastian Hoeneß at the beginning of the 2019/20 season , he moved to England to Wolverhampton Wanderers at the beginning of August 2019 . There he signed a contract with a term until June 30, 2022 and is a member of the U23 squad. After a few appearances in the U23 Premier League, he made his debut in the professional team under Nuno Espírito Santo at the end of September 2019 when he was substituted on in the League Cup in a win against second division Reading FC towards the end of regular time. After 16 minutes he had to leave the field again due to a torn cruciate ligament and was out for a long time.
