The moderators were Alan Bangs and Robert Treutel (now known as Bodo Bach ), Nancy Diehl, Karin Sarholz - and Xaõ Seffcheque , who presented Xaõs quiz: The main prize was a visit or participation in one of the next programs. Within North Rhine-Westphalia , the moderators mostly visited small towns in an American stage truck in order to present more or less well-known musicians there in the afternoons, for example on a market square. The 48th broadcast, however, took place on January 28, 1985 in Düsseldorf's Philipshalle . The truck also left the transmission area for individual events in Berlin (October 8, 1984 and September 9, 1985, both for the international radio exhibition ) or Munich (November 26, 1984). The music convoy helped groups such as doctors to start their careers. The respective music acts that were presented on the truck stage were not presented live, but playback (lip-syncing).
