NGC 3615 is an elliptical galaxy of Hubble type E4 in the constellation Leo on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 296 million light years from the Milky Way and about 125,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky is u. a. the galaxy NGC 3618 .
The object was discovered by Wilhelm Herschel on April 10, 1785 .
