NGC 365 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBbc in the constellation Sculptor in the southern sky . It is an estimated 443 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 130,000 light years in diameter.
The supernova SN 1970N was observed here.
The object was discovered on September 25, 1834 by the British astronomer John Herschel .
