NGC 373 is an elliptical galaxy from the Hubble type E0 in the constellation fish on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 253 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 30,000 light years in diameter.
The galaxies NGC 370 , NGC 375 , NGC 384 , NGC 385 are located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered on December 12, 1876 by the Danish astronomer Johan Ludvig Emil Dreyer .
