NGC 375 is an elliptical galaxy from the Hubble-type E2 in the constellation fish on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 268 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 40,000 light years in diameter.
Together with NGC 379 , NGC 380 , NGC 382 , NGC 383 , NGC 384 , NGC 385 , NGC 386 , NGC 387 and NGC 388 , it forms the galaxy cluster Arp 331 .

The object was discovered on December 1, 1874 by the Irish astronomer Lawrence Parsons .
