NGC 352 is a barred spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBb in the constellation Whale south of the ecliptic . It is an estimated 239 million light years from the Milky Way and about 170,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered on September 20, 1784 by the German-British astronomer Friedrich Wilhelm Herschel .
