Netschajane ( Ukrainian Нечаяне ; Russian Нечаянное Netschajannoje ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Mykolaiv with about 1,800 inhabitants (2001).

The village, founded at the end of the 18th century, is the administrative center of the district council of the same name in the west of Mykolaiv Rajon .

Nechayane is located on the banks of the Berezan River and on the M 14 highway between Odessa 100 km southwest and the oblast capital Mykolaiv 36 km east.

For district community still villages include Iwaniwka ( Іванівка ) with about 560 inhabitants, Lukjaniwka ( Лук'янівка ) with about 40 population, Mefodijiwka ( Мефодіївка ) with about 15 population, Pjatychatky ( П'ятихатки ) with a population of about 5 and the settlements Radhospne ( Радгоспне ) with about 230 inhabitants, Myrne ( Мирне , before 2016 Tscherwonoarmijske ) with about 280 inhabitants.

  • Viktor Miroschnytschenko ( Віктор Миколайович Мірошниченко 1937-1987), Soviet actor and Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR , was born on April 15, 1937 in the village.
