Nikos Christodoulidis ( Greek Νίκος Χριστοδουλίδης , also transcribed Christodoulides ; born December 6, 1973 in Geroskipou ) is a Cypriot politician . He has been Foreign Minister of the Republic of Cyprus since March 1, 2018 .

Life

Born in 1973 in Geroskipou in the Paphos district, Nikos Christodoulidis graduated from Archbishop Makarios Gymnasium in Paphos in 1991 . He studied political science at New York University and received his PhD from the University of Athens . He taught at the Faculty of History and Archeology at the University of Cyprus .

Career

After his re-election, the President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Anastasiadis appointed Nikos Christodoulidis as Foreign Minister in February 2018. He took office on March 1, 2018.
