Nová Dedinka is a municipality in western Slovakia near the Little Danube , about six kilometers from Senec and 25 kilometers from the capital Bratislava .
It originated in 1960 from the places Dedinka pri Dunaji (German Schaap ) and Nová Ves pri Dunaji (German [Danube] Neudorf ).
Until 1918 the parts of the municipality belonged to the Kingdom of Hungary and then came to the newly formed Czechoslovakia , through the First Vienna Arbitration , they briefly came back to Hungary from 1938 to 1945.
