Miloslavov is a municipality in Okres Senec in southwest Slovakia . The place is about 20 km east of Bratislava and has about 1200 inhabitants.

Roman Catholic Church

The community emerged in 1936 from the two settlements Annin Dvor (German Annahof ) and Alžbetin Dvor (German Sankt Elisabethhof ). Until then, both were part of the municipality of Štvrtok na Ostrove . Smaller areas also belonged to the municipal areas of Tomášov , Nové Košariská and Nová Lipnica . Even before that, in 1921, Slovak settlers from Bohemia , Yugoslavia and Hungary were settled on the previously parceled property of knight Rudolf Wiener-Welten . The colony should initially be named in honor of Milan Rastislav Štefánik , since a settlement of the same name had already arisen shortly before, the name Miloslavova (after the Slovak writer Jozef Miloslav Hurban ) was used until 1930 . After 1945 families from central Slovakia joined them.

In the last ten years the municipality has developed due to its proximity to the city of Bratislava.

There is a modern Roman Catholic church in the Alžbetin Dvor district, which was opened in 2004. The older church of St. Elisabeth from the 13th century was converted into a warehouse.
