Oberhasel is a district of the municipality of Uhlstädt-Kirchhasel in the Saalfeld-Rudolstadt district in Thuringia .

The place with about 100 inhabitants is located northwest of Kirchhasel and forms the entrance to the Hirschgrund.

history

Oberhasel was first mentioned in 1349 as "ubirn hasela". The church, built before 1500, served as a parish church.

On July 1, 1950, Oberhasel was incorporated into the Kirchhasel community.
