Partschefeld is a district of the municipality of Uhlstädt-Kirchhasel in the Saalfeld-Rudolstadt district in Thuringia . The originally two-line street village is located on the ridge of the red sandstone plateau at an altitude of 350 m above sea level and has about 120 inhabitants.

history

The place was first mentioned on April 27, 1344 as Perscherat in a deed of sale of the Orlamünde rule and the Weißenburg castle from Count Heinrich von Orlamünde to the Margrave Friedrich II. Von Meißen . In 1373 the place was noted in the spelling Parscheval .

Partschefeld was initially a Slavic settlement . In the center of the village, next to the church, a Vorwerk was built , it belonged to the manor in Uhlstädt and was managed by a tenant family. The sheepfold of the Vorwerk shows clear traces of a fortification. Towards the end of the Thirty Years War there were looting by the imperial troops in 1647. After the peace treaty of Münster, the place belonged to the Duchy of Saxony-Altenburg , subsequently it belonged to the western district , district court district Kahla .

The first school was built in 1707. The poor building fabric quickly fell into disrepair, so a new schoolhouse was built as early as 1774. In 1906 the construction of a water pipe began. The Arnstal spring was captured. At that time it was under so much pressure that its water was forced into the village via a ram system .

On December 1, 1972 Partschefeld was incorporated into the municipality of Uhlstädt. With Uhlstädt, the place changed on July 1, 2002 to the new municipality Uhlstädt-Kirchhasel.

Surname

The name of the place was changed several times. It was called villa Parczeval in 1373 , Parschefal in 1378 , Patzelsdorff in 1491, and Partschefeld then prevailed around 1500 from Partzefeilt .

Worth seeing

  • The oldest house in Partschefeld that has remained unchanged dates from the 16th century.
  • Outdoor pool at the Bornteich
  • Lookout tower on the Kreuzenberg (only remnants of the foundation wall)
  • The culture house was built by the Partschefeld citizens themselves as part of NAW work.

economy

In 1780, by order of the lords of Kochberg, vineyards were laid out everywhere and the hills were partially terraced. The success was moderate, and the rainwater quickly washed away the sandy soil and the heavy walls. Remnants of the terraces can still be discovered. There are still numerous cherry trees here that were planted around 1850/60 after the vineyard was abandoned. With the sale of the Vorwerk in 1856 and the abolition of serfdom, the economic and cultural boom began in Partschefeld. The division and sale of the property enabled the farmers and villagers to develop their own farms (cattle, fruit and grain).
