Schloßkulm is a part of the municipality of Uhlstädt-Kirchhasel in the Saalfeld-Rudolstadt district in Thuringia .

geography

Schloßkulm is 345 m above sea level in a valley basin on the northern slope of the 481 m high mountain Kulm . It is the highest mountain in the area. The place is surrounded by forest and orchards . A bottle neck-like opening of the boiler is built with the access road. Neighboring towns are south of Dorfkulm , north of Oberpreilipp and the city of Rudolstadt .

history

63 residents are registered in the place. It was first mentioned in a document on January 25, 1497.

From 1991 to 2002 Schloßkulm belonged to the Uhlstädt administrative association. When this was dissolved on July 1, 2002, it formed the unified community of Uhlstädt-Kirchhasel with ten other communities.
