Listed church in Zeutsch

Zeutsch is a district of the municipality of Uhlstädt-Kirchhasel in the Saalfeld-Rudolstadt district in Thuringia .

Geography and geology

The district of Zeutsch lies in the Saale valley and forms a funnel-like gate to the entrance to the Hexengrund in the direction of Engerda Großkochberg . The Saale and the railway line from Saalfeld to Jena , stopping at the village, run through the valley and graze the town. The federal road 88 is also the main road in the village, which is advantageous but also stressful. The place is to the left of the Saale. The alluvial alluvial soils in the Saale valley are close to the groundwater and are therefore very fertile. Both on the slopes and on the heights, the soil to the left of the Saale merges into shell limestone weathered rock. To the right of the hall is the floor made of weathered red sandstone. Both locations merge into soils remote from the groundwater. The slopes and mountains are mostly forested.

Neighboring towns are the city of Orlamünde to the north, Niederkrossen to the northeast , Uhlstädt to the southwest and Beutelsdorf to the west . The Töpfersdorf desert lay east of Zeutsch.

history

The first documented mention of Zeutsch was from 1083 to February 16, 1084.
