Coat of arms design

In particular, Diemar produced new coats of arms for places in Brandenburg and Thuringia, which were necessary after German reunification and due to the reforms of the municipal structures at the turn of the millennium. These include, for example, the coat of arms approved on February 21, 2001 for the community of Löwenberger Land , for which Diemar chose the following blazon :

"In the golden, with black stars strewn plate of red Dreienberg growing a red reinforced , -gezungter and -gekrönter doppeltgeschwänzter black lion with a red ladder with three crossbars between the front paws."

In addition to historical and natural elements, Diemar occasionally picks up on current references in the design. For example, when designing the coat of arms for the Schönefeld district of Kiekebusch , he chose the newly developed Schönefeld motorway junction as the central element , which he represented as a red-bordered silver supporting arched cross with a red crosshair. He covered the lower longitudinal bar with a green bush, which refers to the place name as a talking element.

Diemar designed other coats of arms for:

Brandenburg

Saxony

Thuringia

Berlin
After the reorganization of the Berlin districts, Diemar designed the district coats of arms for Treptow-Köpenick (2004) and Lichtenberg (2005).
