Schlepzig , in Lower Sorbian Słopišća , older also Slopice , is a municipality in the district of Dahme-Spreewald ( Brandenburg ). It belongs to the Unterspreewald office and the official settlement area of ​​the Sorbs / Wends .

history

The place was first mentioned in 1004 in a deed of donation from Heinrich II. To the monastery Nienburg . Schlepzig belonged to the district of Lübben (Spreewald) in the province of Brandenburg since 1816 and from 1952 to the district of Lübben in the GDR district of Cottbus . The community has been in the Dahme-Spreewald district in Brandenburg since 1993.
