Steinreich is a municipality in the Dahme-Spreewald district in Brandenburg . She belongs to the Unterspreewald office .
geography
The municipality includes the part of Fläming in the district of Dahme-Spreewald . A scenic highlight is the Wacholderschlucht between Hohendorf / Sellendorf / Schönerlinde - it is part of the nature reserve that begins there.
Community structure
According to its main statute, the Steinreich community is structured as follows:
- Glienig district
- with the districts of Damsdorf and Schenkendorf ( Lower Sorbian Šenkojce )
- Sellendorf district
- with the community parts of Hohendorf (first mentioned in 1455 and redeemed with place names and rights) and Schöneiche
as well as the residential areas Eichbusch (with two houses north of Sellendorf) and Schönerlinde
history
Since 1816 Glienig belonged to the Jüterbog-Luckenwalde district , Sellendorf to the Luckau district , both in the province of Brandenburg . In 1952, both places were incorporated into the Luckau district in the GDR district of Cottbus . Since 1993 they have been in the Dahme-Spreewald district of Brandenburg.
The community emerged on December 31, 2002 from the voluntary amalgamation of the previously independent communities of Glienig and Sellendorf .

Attractions
In the list of architectural monuments in Steinreich and in the list of ground monuments in Steinreich are the monuments entered in the list of monuments of the state of Brandenburg.
- The village church Schenkendorf was built in the 15th century and renovated in 1713. The church furnishings all date from around 1700, including an altar by the carpenter Bandicke and the painter Zimmermann.

Sports
At the mini World Cup in summer 2006 in Hohendorf, the big soccer World Cup 2006 in Germany was copied and successfully implemented on a scale (small field village festival with around 400 players and fans).
