Oravské Veselé (until 1946 only Slovak "Veselé"; Hungarian Veszele , Polish Wesołe ) is a municipality in the central Slovakia .
It is located in the Beskydy Mountains in the Orava region at the confluence of the Veselianka and Mútnik rivers , 12 km from the town of Námestovo .
The first written mention was made in 1629 (foundation). In the village there is a church of St. Elisabeth from 1815.
