Zákamenné (until 1927 in Slovak also "Klín"; Hungarian Zákameneklin , Polish Klin Zakamienny ) is a municipality in northern Slovakia . It is located on the Biela Orava , one of the (former) source rivers of the Orava in the Orava region , 18 km from Námestovo and about 50 km from Čadca .
The place was founded in 1615 as a Wallachian village. Sights include the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary from 1901, the newly built Church of St. Joseph from 2000 and a Jewish cemetery. The Horná Orava nature reserve is located in the area .
