The parliamentary elections in Norway in 1993 took place on September 13, 1993. It was the election for the 56th storting .

The dominant theme of the election campaign was the question of Europe. Senterpartiet (Sp) had decided on a clear course against Norwegian EU membership and at the same time terminated the political alliance with the Europe-friendly conservatives. The isolated position in the center of the party spectrum was secured by a new basic program, which relied on economic decentralization and ecological renewal. Thus the Sp achieved an enormous influx of voters at the expense of Høyre and Fremskrittspartiet . It tripled the number of its mandates and moved into the Storting as the second largest party .

The Finnmark protest list Framtid for Finnmark (Aune-lista) did not stand for re-election. The left-wing alternative Rød Valgallianse was able to win a district mandate in Oslo. Venstre brought a member to Storting after two terms outside parliament.

Since the Labor Party was also able to make up ground and because the bourgeois camp was divided, the Brundtland III government remained in office.
