Pea Ridge is a census-designated place (CDP) in Santa Rosa County in the US state of Florida with 3587 inhabitants (as of 2010).

Pea Ridge is about 5 km west of Milton and about 20 km north of Pensacola . The CDP is crossed by US Highway 90 ( SR 10 ).

Demographic data

According to the 2010 census, the then 3587 inhabitants were distributed among 1482 households. 89.8% of the population identified themselves as whites , 3.0% as African American , 0.8% as Indians and 2.2% as Asian Americans . 1.3% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 2.8% to several ethnic groups. 4.3% of the population were Hispanics or Latinos .

In 2010 children under the age of 18 lived in 40.5% of all households and people aged 65 or over lived in 21.8% of all households. 74.7% of households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or one parent with offspring). The average household size was 2.72 people and the average family size was 3.06 people.

30.6% of the population were younger than 20 years, 26.9% were 20 to 39 years old, 26.4% were 40 to 59 years old, and 16.1% were at least 60 years old. The mean age was 35 years. 47.9% of the population were male and 52.1% were female.
