Career

Peter Pucher began his career at HK Prešov , for whom he made his debut in the Slovak Extra League in the 1993/94 season . In 1995 he moved to HK Poprad , where he developed into a top performer, so that a year later he was signed by the Slovak top club HC Košice . In the following three years he was on the ice for Košice and became Slovak champion with his club in 1999 . After this success he was taken under contract with Marek Uram from the Czech newly promoted HC Znojemští Orli , for which he completed over 350 games in the Czech extra league in the following eight years . In the middle of the 2006/07 season he moved from Znojmo to HC Moeller Pardubice , with whom he was Czech runner-up at the end of the same season. In March 2009, Pucher was loaned from HC Pardubice to HC Kometa Brno to play the first division playoffs . With Brno he failed to rise to the extra league, but Kometa acquired an extra league license. Pucher stayed with HC Kometa and played 15 games for the club before returning to his home country in November 2009 and being signed by HKm Zvolen .

For the 2011/12 season , Pucher was signed by his former club from Znojmo, which has since taken part in the Austrian ice hockey league under the name Orli Znojmo . There he was one of the top performers for many years and reached the EBEL playoff final in April 2016.
