City Bailiff Eschenbach
The Stadtvogteiamt Eschenbach was an office of the German Order Coming Nuremberg .
Eschenbach was originally a member of the German Order . Between 1306 and 1315, the Kommende lost its independence and became part of the Deutschordenskommende Nürnberg.
According to the Salbuch der Deutschordenskommende Nürnberg from 1343, the city bailiff was wealthy in the following places: Alberndorf , Ballmannshof , Bammersdorf , Biederbach , Brombach , Elpersdorf near Windsbach , Fischbach , Gerbersdorf , Großbreitenbronn , Kaltengreuth , Kirschendorf , Kleinbreitenbronn , Leidendorf , Merkendorf , Mitteleschenbach , Neuses , Reutern , Sallmannshof , Waizendorf , Winkelhaid , Wöltendorf .
Towards the end of the 18th century, the Eschenbach City Bailiff can be described as follows:
The sovereignty ( high court , lower court outside the Etter , church sovereignty , tax sovereignty, etc.) extended only to Eschenbach in full. In Adelmannsdorf , Biederbach, Gotzendorf, Reutern, Sallmannshof, Waizendorf, Wöltendorf it ruled the village and community. This entitled them to lower court within the Etter. The high court, however, exercised the Lichtenau (Gotzendorf) maintenance office and the Windsbach caste and municipal bailiff office (other places).

- Indirectly: Alms Office Eschenbach: Wöltendorf (1); Church town of Eschenbach : Biederbach (2), Sauernheim (1);Eschenbach Parish and Beneficiary Foundation: Adelmannsdorf (5), Fischbach (1), Herpersdorf (1), Neuses (1), Unterrottmannsdorf (2), Waizendorf (1), Wattenbach (1), Zandt (1); Elisabeth Hospital Nuremberg: Gotzendorf (1); Parish Weißenkirchberg : Brunst (9).
Foreign rulers were also wealthy in all places.
In 1806 the Teutonic Order of Nuremberg, and with it the Eschenbach office, was abolished and incorporated into the Kingdom of Bavaria . The Eschenbach office was now part of the Heilsbronn district court .
