Pulau Bohayan or Pulau Bohihan is an island belonging to Malaysia in Darvel Bay, which is open to the Celebes Sea . The island is about 25 km south of Lahad Datu .
Bohayan is one of a group of densely forested islands in the southwest of Darvel Bay. It has roughly the shape of a triangle with a 238 m high elevation. Its maximum length is about 2.5 km, the greatest width about 1.5 km. The island is uninhabited, but is used by the Malaysian customs to inspect the ships with cargo of tropical timber leaving Lahad Datu. There are anchorages in front of the island which are often used by larger ships during the monsoon season.
The island is popular with divers because of the offshore coral reefs.
