Pulau Larapan is an island belonging to the Malaysian state of Sabah in Darvel Bay, which is open to the Celebes Sea . The island is about 11 kilometers northwest of Semporna . The island extends 2.4 kilometers to the northeast and is up to 1.3 kilometers wide. A wooded hill rises to the southwest, the treetops of which rise up to 61 m. The island is separated from Pulau Silawa to the west by a navigable strait a few hundred meters wide .

Demographics

There are two settlements on the island; Kg. Larapan and Kg. Larapan Hujung.
