Government of the Republic of Croatia
The government of the Republic of Croatia ( Croatian Vlada Republike Hrvatske ) is part of the state executive together with the President of the Republic of Croatia . The government's area of responsibility is defined in the Croatian constitution .
Croatia is a parliamentary democracy with far-reaching tasks and duties for the Croatian President, who u. a. charged the Prime Minister with the formation of a government. The Croatian government is currently (2020) headed by Prime Minister Andrej Plenković .
The government is led by the President of the Government (Predsjednik Vlade or female Predsjednica Vlade) , also called Prime Minister (premijer or female premijerka) . It consists of the Prime Minister, his deputies and the ministers .
The government building is the Banuspalais (Banski dvori) in Zagreb . Opposite this is the seat of the Croatian Parliament ( Sabor )
