Richard F. Larsen

Richard F. Larsen (* 1936 ) is an American politician . Between 1969 and 1973 he was lieutenant governor of the state of North Dakota .

Career

The sources on Richard Larsen are very poor. What is certain is that he lived at least temporarily in North Dakota and became a member of the Republican Party . He was a member of the House of Representatives from North Dakota in 1965 and 1966 ; from 1967 to 1968 he was a member of the State Senate . In 1968, Larsen was elected Lieutenant Governor of North Dakota, alongside William L. Guy . He held this office between 1969 and 1973. He was Deputy Governor and Chairman of the State Senate. In 1972 he narrowly failed in his state's gubernatorial elections. He later became Special Assistant to Secretary of the Treasury and a member of the Board of Trustees of Columbia College Hollywood in California .
