Roseldorf is a village in the western Weinviertel in Lower Austria as well as a locality and cadastral municipality of the municipality of Großmugl in the Korneuburg district .
geography
The place is located about 32 kilometers northwest of the city center of Vienna , and 15 km southeast of Hollabrunn . It is located 2 km south of Großmugl at around 205 m above sea level. A. Höhe, in the hill country of the southern Weinviertel on the Mugler Bach .
The village has almost 60 buildings with around 140 residents. The total area of the cadastral community is 762 hectares .
The place extends as a street group village on today's Landesstraße L 25, on the section Donau Straße B 3 between Korneuburg and Spillern via Unterrohrbach - Wiesen - Leitzersdorf - Roseldorf - Großmugl to Mistelbacher Straße B 40 in Enzersdorf im Thale.

- a field cross, south of the village on the state road ( is a listed building )
In 2009, Großmugl declared itself a starlight oasis in the sense of the UNESCO Convention as the “ right to starlight ”. The entire municipality operates active protection against light pollution .
