action

The orphan Resi lives with a gardener couple and takes care of the foster mother, who has a heart condition and has become a “care mother” herself. Resi brings the roses to the customers to use the money to pay for medication for the foster mother.

Resi learns how to grow roses from the old gardener Jakob. While searching for a wild rose bush, she falls into a pond and almost drowns. Your savior is the former doctor Dr. Schumann, who met the owner of the Herta Wieland nursery through the incident. Herta already has a fiancé in Fred Rohrbach. His sister Christine used to be with Dr. Schumann engaged. Schumann's car was hit and missed after a fatal accident. Schumann had taken on the act because of her and served a prison sentence.

In the meantime, Resi has received her own little tree from the nursery owner for the purpose of growing roses, refined it and eagerly waits for the first blossoming. She wants to help her "care mother" by selling the roses. During the night, Fred Rohrbach was the first to discover the freshly unfolded roses and cut them all off to give them to the hotel owner Vera Fürst, whom he has just proposed to marry. Resi is stunned when she discovers her cleared rose tree in the morning.

However, it all turns to a happy ending. Christine has since confessed that it was she who caused the fatal accident in Schumann's car. Fred's windy double play is revealed when he meets Herta and Vera together. Resis roses are discovered by a connoisseur (who wants to sell them to Holland and its colonies) and classified as a particularly valuable cultivated form. Rosi names her cultivated form after "Maria Cranz", her "care mother". The foster mother gets well again, and the happiness between Herta and the rehabilitated Dr. Nothing stands in the way of Schumann, who can now practice again.
