geography

Sadrach is located northwest above the city ​​center , on the left slope of the Inn Valley , at the foot of the Nordkette at heights of 700  m above sea level. A. The Frau Hitt  ( 2270  m above sea level ) and the Kleine Solstein  ( 2637  m above sea level ) stand above Sadrach . To the northeast, above Sadrach, is the Schlotthof location , from where it goes over the Planötzenhof to the Höttinger Bild .

history

The area originally belonged to the municipality of Hötting and was incorporated into Innsbruck in 1938. From 1963 to 1969 Sadrach was built as a new district, with 244 condominiums and a few row houses. Today the location is fully integrated into the Innsbruck settlement unit.
