The wrestling luck was not particularly good for him in Athens either, because he lost there against Bezik Aslanasvili from Greece and Massoud Moustafa Jokar from Iran and ended up in 17th place.
Sahit Prizreni only took part in an international championship again in 2007 after his stay in the USA. He started at the World Championships this year in Baku and has improved a lot. By winning a medal at the 2007 World Cup, Sahit Prizreni was automatically qualified for participation in the Beijing Olympics. In Beijing he was eliminated in the first round with a defeat against Basar Basargurujew from Kyrgyzstan , because he did not reach the final battle in the further course of the tournament. He ended up in 16th place.
In 2009 Sahit Prizreni started only at the Mediterranean Games in Pescara and finished there in 5th place in the lightweight. In 2010 he took part in the World Cup in Moscow . He came there to a victory over the Inger Yogeshwar Dutt, but was defeated in his next fight by the Cuban Alejandro Valdes Tobier, with which he was eliminated and only finished 18th.
In 2011 he fought his way to the final at the European Featherweight Championships in Dortmund with victories over Vincenzo Rizziotto, Italy, Manfred Ewald , Germany and Wasil Fedorischin from Ukraine. In this he lost to Opan Sat from Russia quite clearly on points (0: 2 rounds, 1: 7 points). He won an EM silver medal with it . At the World Cup this year in Istanbul he was defeated in the first round against Andrei Perpeliță from Moldova just on points (1: 2 rounds, 4: 5 points). Since Perpeliță did not reach the final, the World Cup was already over for him and he ended up in 28th place.
