History and sights
The name comes from Saint Koloman , an Irish pilgrim and patron saint also for travelers, who became popular with the Babenbergers around the year 1000 and was the Austrian patron saint from 1244 (until 1663). Perhaps this points to relatively early roots. In 1581 the St. Colmansteig was named, on which the chaplain from Waldzell , the parish at the time, went to the present day village to read mass.
Today the place no longer has a church. The statue of Our Lady of the former church is said to be in the mountain farmers' chapel in Litzlham . There is a chapel at the farmer in Leiten, the Moserkapelle from 1890.
At the beginning of the 19th century, the tax municipality of St. Kollmann was founded. Rödt downstream behind Kronawitten, which originally belonged to St. Kollmann, was added to the Pramet community in 1884.
During the address reform of the municipality on July 1, 2008, the place got new house numbers. The old ones still followed the system of conscription numbers and became confusing. In this Winkl as well armed and Lehen respectively above separate places (with appropriate address).
