Schkortitz is a village in the Leipzig district in Saxony . Politically, the place has belonged to Grimma since the beginning of 2011 . It is located between Naundorf and Kaditzsch around seven kilometers east of Grimma on county road 8330.

Schkortitz was first mentioned in 1276 as "Scortitz". Further mentions were:

On July 1, 1950, the previously independent community Naundorf was incorporated. Zeunitz joined the company on January 1, 1952.
