Wetteritz is a village in the Leipzig district in Saxony . Politically, the place has belonged to Grimma since 2012 . It is located on Kreisstraße 8333 between Draschwitz and Göttwitz .

On January 1, 1952, Wetteritz was incorporated into Göttwitz. On January 1, 1974, the community of Göttwitz was incorporated into Mutzschen. With the incorporation of Mutzschen to Grimma on January 1, 2012, Wetteritz has been part of the latter since then.
