The scattered settlement is about ten kilometers west of Baden, on the B210  Badener Straße 4 km before Alland, on both sides of the upper Schwechat , on the Ungarstein , the protrusion of the Windhagberg  ( 462  m above sea level ), and at the northern foot of the Hohen Lindkogel  ( 834  m above sea level ) o. A. ).

The village comprises about 25 buildings, only a few of them as a group on the left bank in the Heiligenkreuz area, which belong to the village of Sattelbach .

The Allander locality and cadastral municipality area is much larger, and covers about 6 square kilometers south and east of the place. There lie:

• In the side valley of the Kleiner Gutentalerbach, which branches off to the south at the western end of the village, the scattered Gutental houses
• downstream to the east, the houses at Sattelbach and the Augustinerhütte district of Krainerhütte (both in the municipality of Heiligenkreuz)

Organizationally, the locality, but not the cadastral municipality, also includes:

• Even further downstream, the scattered Helenental houses in the well-known excursion area, in the cadastral community Innerer Kaltenbergerforst , which is otherwise largely uninhabited. The Eisernes Tor mountain shelter on the Hohen Lindkogel is also located there .
• the Gasthof Jägerhaus , whose road only leads up from Baden (KG  Äußerer Kaltenbergerforst , otherwise uninhabited)
