European Short Track Championships 2007

The 2007 European Short Track Championships took place from January 19-21, 2007 in Sheffield , UK . A total of four European championship titles were awarded, one each in the all-around competition and one in the relay for women and men. It was the first continental title fights to take place in Great Britain. The host was the International Skating Union (ISU).

In the all-around competition, the defending champions won each time, Ewgenija Radanowa from Bulgaria for women and Nicola Rodigari from Italy for men . In the relay competitions, the German quartet was able to prevail twice, with the women before Italy and the Netherlands, with the men before Hungary and Great Britain.

A total of 123 athletes from 24 countries took part in the European Championships, including 69 men and 54 women.

  • Every athlete who has reached a final receives points there for his placement, from 34 points for first place to one point for eighth place. If an athlete does not compete (DNS), is disqualified (DSQ) or does not reach the finish (DNF), he will not receive any points for the all-round competition.
