history

In 1389 the place was mentioned for the first time under the name "Singher". At that time an “Arn. de Singher ”. In the Prussian first recording from 1840, two water mills are recorded in the area of ​​Singern. In the topographic map ( Prussian New Admission ) from 1894 to 1896 one of them is listed as “Pv. M “(powder mill) labeled. In 1931, both mill locations disappeared from the topographic maps.
