Spencer Garrett

Spencer Garrett (born September 19, 1963 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actor .

Spencer Garrett grew up in Los Angeles and New York State . Later, he attended Duke University in Durham ( North Carolina ) and the Fordham University in New York City before becoming a theater studies at the renowned acting teacher Sanford Meisner began.

Since the late 1980s, Spencer Garrett has acted in numerous, including very well-known American television series . In addition, appearances in television and cinema films followed . He was also in some blockbusters like Transformers - Die Rache , Public Enemies or Air Force One . So far, Spencer Garrett has mostly played supporting roles . His work includes more than 160 film and television productions.

He made a memorable appearance in Germany's controversial film Valley of the Wolves - Iraq . Garrett plays the US journalist George Baltimore, who is kidnapped by al-Qaida supporters in Iraq and is supposed to be beheaded in front of the camera. This is prevented at the last minute by a Qādirīya sheikh.

In 2017 he was accepted into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), which awards the Oscars every year.
