Stanislav Zore OFM , also Stane Zore (born September 7, 1958 in Sela pri Kamniku , Yugoslavia ) is a Slovenian clergyman and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Ljubljana .

Life

Stanislav Zore joined the Franciscan Order and made his profession on October 4, 1984 . On June 29, 1985, he received the sacrament of ordination .

On 4 October 2014 it appointed Pope Francis to the Archbishop of Ljubljana . He received the episcopal ordination on November 23rd of the same year by the Apostolic Nuncio in Slovenia, Archbishop Juliusz Janusz . Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Novo Mesto , Andrej Glavan , and the Bishop of Celje , Stanislav Lipovšek .

In September 2015 Stanislav Zore was appointed Grand Officer in Rome by Cardinal Grand Master Edwin Frederick O'Brien and invested in the Papal Knightly Order of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem and at the same time appointed Grand Prior of the Lieutenancy of Slovenia.
