The Styrian Women's Regional League is the national soccer league for women in the Austrian state of Styria . It is the third highest league in the football league system in Austria .

The national league for women in Styria was organized by the Styrian Football Association with nine participants: Masters DFC St. Ruprecht / Raab, DFC Eichberg, LUV Graz, USV Seckau, DFC Schäffern, SK Stojen, DFC Wundschuh, DFC Ligist and DFC Piberstein. The champions were not eligible for promotion to the women's Bundesliga.

From 2000 onwards, the regional league of Styria was incorporated into the Austrian league system as a second division. From now on, the champions should be promoted to the women's Bundesliga. From the 2001/02 season, a club from Carinthia, ASV St. Margarethen / Lavanttal, also played in the league in 2002 and 2003. Until 2006, DFC St. Ruprecht / Raab won the Styrian championship title three times, 1st DFC Leoben twice and LUV Graz once.

As of the 2006/07 season, the 2nd league south was introduced as the 2nd level and the Styrian women's regional league slipped one class lower. Champions were now SV Gössendorf, JSV Mariatrost, DUSV Loipersdorf and SV Oberaich.
Starting in 2010, SV St. Margarethen / Raab, SC St. Rubrecht / Raab twice in a row, the syndicate of SK Sturm Graz / SV Grambach / FC Stattegg II, UDFC Hof bei Staden, SC St. Ruprecht / Raab, Wildcats Krottendorf and USV Ottendorf .
Name (sponsor)
The Styrian Women's State League currently has no sponsor in its name. In the course of its existence, the regional league has always been called the Styrian Women's Regional League.
Game mode
The league consists of a maximum of twelve teams, with each club playing one home and one away game against each other. A season therefore comprises a maximum of 22 match days. The first in the table after the end of the season is eligible for relegation to the second-class 2nd league with the champions from Lower Austria, Carinthia and Vienna.
