Tobias Scharfenberger
Tobias Scharfenberger (born September 1, 1964 in Munich ) is a German opera singer ( baritone ).
Life
Tobias Scharfenberger grew up in Hamburg , Cologne and Trier . He received his vocal training with Vera Ilieva and at the music academies in Hanover and Karlsruhe with Gerhard Faulstich and Roland Hermann .
In the 2011/12 season Tobias Scharfenberger can be seen at the United City Theaters in Krefeld and Mönchengladbach . In addition, as a spontaneous step in at the premieres of other houses, he is a “stroke of luck” and a welcome guest.
After a short interlude as deputy director of the Trier Theater, Tobias Scharfenberger has been the designated director of the Mosel Music Festival since 2016 and its managing director since 2017.
Tobias Scharfenberger is married to the American soprano Christina Clark .
