history

In the fief book of Margrave Friedrich from 1421 the place name "Strahlbach" is mentioned. Like the nearby Waldsachsen, it could originally have been an extension farm occupied by the Riedfeld royal court with Saxon forced settlers. Ober- and Unterstrahlbach are first differentiated in 1541 as "the Zway stroelpach". In 1491 the places belonged to the parish of Neustadt. While the upper part of Strahlbach belonged to a Wixensteiner family from Herrnneuses , the lower part belonged to the city of Neustadt, which was fiefdom of Unterstrahlbach until 1754.

The Unterstrahlbach estate was sold in 1754 to the governor of Neustadt, Count Pückler († 1709), with the surrender of Neustadt's feudal rights. He built a mill, a sheep farm and a cutting mill. The existing brickworks gained importance under the Dehn family in the place that was now developing into a hamlet (however, it was moved to Neustadt in 1902 with the Beer brothers' tannery). On June 12, 1738, the city bought the estate back from Pückler's son and heir and Unterstrahlbach soon belonged to Neustadt again. The city of Neustadt an der Aisch was the landlord of the four properties (1 Gütlein, 1 brickworks, 1 sheep farm, 1 mill) . Under the Prussian administration (1792–1806) of the Principality of Bayreuth, Unterstrahlbach received house numbers 354 to 357 for the town of Neustadt.

As part of the community edict, Unterstrahlbach was assigned to the Neustadt an der Aisch tax district formed in 1811 . It also belonged to the municipality of Neustadt an der Aisch, founded in 1813 .

Around 1900, the railway administration obtained the water it needed from its spring at Deiningerschlag near Unterstrahlbach.
