Kleinerlbach is a district of the city of Neustadt an der Aisch in the district of Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim in Middle Franconia .

The village is 1.7 km east of the center of Neustadt and is structurally connected to the city. The old town is today's Kleinerlbacher Ortsstraße. The Erlbach, a right tributary of the Aisch, flows through Kleinerlbach . Approx. The Hundsleiten area is 0.5 km northeast of the village .

history

The place was first mentioned by name in 1361/64 in the castle count's Salbuch as "Klein-Erelbach" and in 1421 in a fief book. In 1491 Kleinerlbach belonged to the parish of Neustadt. Until 1568, Kleinerlbach was a margravial fiefdom owned by the lords of Lauffenholz, who had existed as a noble family up to that point , and who owned property in neighboring Diespeck , in Ehe, Riedfeld and Rößleinsdorf. In 1628, Kleinerlbach almost died out due to the plague . A tragic flood in Kleinerlbach is documented for 1708.

Towards the end of the 18th century there were nine properties in Kleinerlbach. The high court was exercised by the Brandenburg-Bayreuth city ​​bailiff Neustadt an der Aisch . The village and township government had the box office Neustadt held. The landlords were the Kastenamt Neustadt (2 courtyards, 1 half courtyard, 3 Sölden ) and the parish of Diespeck (1 Sölde).

As part of the community edict, Kleinerlbach was assigned to the Diespeck tax district, which was formed in 1811 . It also belonged to the rural community of Diespeck, founded in 1813 . On May 1, 1978, Kleinerlbach was reclassified to Neustadt an der Aisch as part of the regional reform .
