history

In the fief book of Margrave Friedrich from 1421 the place name "Strahlbach" is mentioned. Like the nearby Waldsachsen , it could originally have been an extension yard occupied by the Riedfeld royal court with Saxon forced settlers. Ober- and Unterstrahlbach are first differentiated in 1541 as "the Zway stroelpach". In 1491 the places belonged to the parish of Neustadt. The upper district of Strahlbach belonged to a family Wixensteiner to Herrnneuses , the lower to the city of Neustadt. A Gülthof formerly belonging to Strahlbach was sold by the city of Neustadt in 1666.

Towards the end of the 18th century there were 12 properties in Oberstrahlbach (2 half courtyards, 7 estates, 2 estates, 1 house). The Herrneuses manor exercised the high court , the village and community rule as well as the manorial rule over all properties .

As part of the community edict , Oberstrahlbach was assigned to the Herrnneuse tax district formed in 1811 . It also belonged to the rural community of Herrnneuses, founded in 1813 . On January 1, 1972, Oberstrahlbach was incorporated into Neustadt an der Aisch as part of the regional reform .
