Vincent Morgan (born December 5, 1985 in Herentals ) is a Belgian - Canadian ice hockey player who has been playing again for HYC Herentals since 2005 , which has been playing in the new Belgian-Dutch BeNe League since 2015 . His father Bill and his brothers Mitch and Ben were and are also professional ice hockey players.

Career

Vincent Morgan comes from the youth division of HYC Herentals , for whom he made his debut in the Belgian honorary division in 2001 . In 2002 he was Belgian champion with the club and a year later cup winner . In 2003 he moved to Olympia Heist op den Berg for two years and in 2004 also won the Belgian title with the team from the province of Antwerp . He has been under contract with his parent club HYC Herentals since 2005. First he played there in the Belgian honor division and from 2010 to 2012 in the Belgian-Dutch North Sea Cup . In 2009 and 2012 he was Belgian champion with the club from Flanders and also a cup winner in 2012 . After these successes and due to the suspension of the North Sea Cup, he moved with his club to the Dutch honor division , in which Herentals has since been the only Belgian team. In 2013 he won the Belgian Cup again with Herentals. After being suspended in the 2014/15 season, he has been part of the HYC squad again since 2015 and plays with his club in the BeNe League , the newly formed joint top division of Belgium and the Netherlands, which he was able to win straight away with Herentals, which means at the same time also the Belgian title was connected. He was also able to win the national cup competition with the Flemings in 2016 and 2017.

In the 2009 season of the Australian Ice Hockey League , which is held in contrast to the European leagues in the summer months, he played for the Adelaide Adrenaline and won the Goodall Cup , the Australian championship with them .

International

For Belgium, Morgan took part in the junior division of the U-18 World Championships in 2002 in Division III and 2003 in Division II and the U-20 World Championships in 2003 in Division III and in 2004 and 2005 in Division II.
