William Baker "W. B. “Kinne (born March 22, 1874 in New Brunswick , Canada , † October 1, 1929 in Orofino , Idaho ) was an American politician . In 1929 he was lieutenant governor of the state of Idaho.
Life
Nothing is known about the youth and school education of W. B. Kinne. There is also no information in the sources about his career outside of politics. Politically, he joined the Republican Party . In 1928 he was elected Lieutenant Governor of Idaho alongside HC Baldridge . He held this office between January 7, 1929 and his death on October 1, 1929. He was Deputy Governor and Chairman of the State Senate .
It is worth noting that he and another person were kidnapped in June 1929, but managed to escape. The kidnappers were soon arrested and sentenced. After his death, OE Hailey , who had been his predecessor as lieutenant governor, was also elected as his successor, who then ended the remainder of the term in office until January 1931.
