J. Berkeley Larsen

James Berkeley Larsen (born February 27, 1889 in Mount Pleasant , Sanpete County , Utah , †  March 30, 1979 ) was an American politician . Between 1955 and 1959 he was Lieutenant Governor of the State of Idaho .

Nothing is known about Berkeley Larsen's youth and schooling. There is also no information in the sources about his professional career beyond politics. Politically, he became a member of the Republican Party . In 1954 he was elected Lieutenant Governor of Idaho alongside Robert E. Smylie . He held this office between January 3, 1955 and January 5, 1959. He was Deputy Governor and Chairman of the State Senate . After the end of his time as Lieutenant Governor, his trail is lost. All that is mentioned in the sources is that he died on March 30, 1979 at the age of 90.
