Jack Riggs

Jack Timothy Riggs (* 1954 in Coeur d'Alene , Idaho ) is an American politician and doctor. Between 2001 and 2003 he was Lieutenant Governor of Idaho State .

Career

The exact date of birth of Jack Riggs is not known. He studied at the University of Idaho until 1976 . After a subsequent medical degree at the University of Washington and his license as a doctor, he began to work in this profession. Politically, he joined the Republican Party . For some time he was a member of the Idaho Senate .

Following the resignation of Vice Governor Butch Otter , who had been elected to the US House of Representatives , Riggs was appointed by Governor Dirk Kempthorne as his successor. He held this office between January 30, 2001 and January 6, 2003. In 2002 he was defeated in an attempt for re-election in the Republican primary. He then became a member of the Idaho State Health and Welfare Committee. He is also the CEO of Pita Pit USA, Inc., founded in 2005.
