Ernest L. Parker

Ernest Linwood Parker (born November 29, 1864 in Sigourney , Keokuk County , Iowa , †  June 18, 1934 in Lewiston , Idaho ) was an American politician . Between 1917 and 1919 he was Lieutenant Governor of Idaho State .

Career

Nothing is known about Ernest Parker's youth and schooling. Later he was successful in trading in Idaho. He became a member of the Democratic Party and was a member of the Idaho House of Representatives . In 1916 he was elected lieutenant governor of his state at the side of Moses Alexander . He held this office between January 1, 1917 and January 6, 1919. He was Deputy Governor and Chairman of the Idaho Senate .

After the end of his time as lieutenant governor, Ernest Parker was no longer politically active. He died in Lewiston on June 18, 1934. Since 1903 he was married to Carrie Watson.
